I contracted with Erik at Prodigy Construction to replace several aging windows and sliding doors in my mountain cabin. Additionally, he sanded, leveled and stained the deck that had been damaged in a winter storm. Erik provided a quote, and a professional contract with license number and insurance. He recommended a few different brands of quality windows and his bid for the windows came in $2,000 under other bids for the same project. Because we were away from the cabin during his project, Erik sent several updated photos of his work. Importantly, he kept the house meticulous, placing plastic on the floors and mitigating dust as he could. He finished the project about 3 weeks ahead of schedule. My wife and I could not be more pleased with his professionalism and the quality of his work. Over Christmas break, we had several storms that battered the mountain, dropping over 11 inches of rain in a 24-hour period. The windows and doors had no leaks. It is like living in a different house because it is so well insulated and quiet. I would also note that he redid much of the trim work around the windows, and he did an exceptional job. The deck looks brand new and is perfectly leveled, bolstered by much larger pylons than originally installed. If you want something done right and done once, I highly recommend Erik at prodigy construction. They are honest, quality workers who care a great deal about the customer and their workmanship.
